Online Events and Groups
Play is necessary for burnout recovery. You are invited to join our live, online groups to help you set aside time to recharge and renew through learning, play, and social connection.
Neurodivergent Burnout Recovery Groups
During each session, we’ll learn about neurodivergent burnout in bite sized chunks through videos from the Burnout Recovery Course. Then we’ll take some time to digest the information through discussion and activities related to the topic of the week. There will be 12 sessions to give us plenty of time to practice what we’ve learned and integrate in into our lives.
Get on the waiting list to join the next series starting in January or February 2026.
We’d also love to hear from you if you are interested in a similar workshop for clinicians, caregivers, partners, and family members of people experiencing neurodivergent or autistic burnout.

Role Playing Groups
Role playing is not just fun, it can help us learn, grow, and heal. My role playing groups use expressive arts therapy principles to create a safe space to play with deeper meanings, build relationships with other players, and practice skills, all while having fun! Groups are small and suitable for beginners to role playing.

Creative/Parallel Play Groups
Creative/Parallel Play Groups will support you in actually following through with your plans and desires to spend more time on activities that recharge you. There will be a simple structure of opening and closing to help transition in and out of the activity. I’ll offer an optional creative prompt to get you started, and then we’ll have time to play as we choose. People have used these groups for journaling, painting, cooking, and reading. It’s up to you. You can get a sample of what if might be like by creating along with one of my Parallel Play Date videos.
If you choose to follow the prompts, we will create using multiple modes of expression, and skill and experience in any mode is not necessary. Please join us if you you have a yearning for more creative expression in your life. Learn more about the expressive arts practices we'll use and what you’ll need to get started.
